A couple of months ago we decided to host a remote hackathon for game designers, developers, and artists. It was an amazing experience to organize a massive online hackathon and preserve the atmosphere of an offline event with just a day and a half to get results. More than 2000 people participated.
Now that the whole world went remote this experience may be useful, so we decided to share it.
In our article posted at DTF, we’ve drawn conclusions from this hackathon as its hosts. We shared the idea of starting it, preparing for it, and difficulties we ran into while doing it. And, of course, about our conclusions for the future.
