DevGAMM Minsk 2019

October 28, 2019News

On November 21 we’ll be at DevGAMM Minsk’19.

Playgendary’s Head of Art Alexander Danilov is going to talk about career path in game development: which way and how specialists should grow in the company, why soft-skills are so important and what aspects should be taken into account to become a good manager. We’ll also discuss ways to organize art processes and form artist teams.

Session plan:

  • Major growth milestones from a trainee to a senior specialist – skills and experience to be improved.
  • Difference between the roles on several positions (linear specialist, senior artist, lead artist, art director, art producer) and allocation of duties.
  • The way to grow in depth rather than in scope (as a specialist).
  • Soft skills – steps of cooperation between departments, communication enhancement and best practices.
  • Recommendations.

We’ll be in Orange Hall at 12:30, looking forward to meet you.
